Dark Wizard...that's not good.

"The sixteen towers are to guard against dark wizards?" She asked Sylv, again quietly.

The school was attacked by Wizarding mercenaries?

Layla whispered in Sylvs ear very quietly "ask about the other towers"

Quiet in her place beside Sylv, staying hidden from the ghost thanks to being completely silent, Layla listened. Scourer? she thought to herself, remembering back to what she read... What a pretty view....

Layla took a few moments to enjoy the sight from the top of the tower before finding somewhere away from the edge to sit and wait for nightfall.

Layla laughed.

"What, was the music less painful back in your day?"

With them both in agreement, Layla moved to the stairs, heading up slowly.

Layla's dancing was pretty simple, basic body movements. More swaying to the music than actually dancing, but she still loved it. It was obvious by her face that it was one of the few things she truly loved in life, maybe even more than books! "Don't hurt yourself hopping too much old wizard" she ma...

Layla stepped carefully into the room, looking around her. She was pretty sure this was against the rules now, but they'd gone so far now...

She motioned to the stairs, then looked back at the wolf, as if asking do we go up?

"But you're...some kind of Disney wizard. That means you'll naturally know how to dance, right?" Layla laughed, letting Sylv lead her out to the dance floor.

There was a clear lighting up of the girls eyes at that suggestion.

"Um...can you dance in those? It looks tricky! If you can then hell yeah! I love dancing. I'm no good at it but I love it."

Layla nodded, taking out her wand. Whispering the incantation under her voice to allow her to cut through the fence. Assuming it sets off no alarms, she cuts along enough to allow her to lift up the fence and let first the wolf then her through.

"My grandfathers beard was never that long, so that's fine" Layla took the hand, giggling "you kind of look like that famous wizard.... Gandalf? That's the name I think. Is that any better?"

"Uh...well...it's cool" Layla said, really not sure what to say "I don't think anyone else is wearing it!"

Oh my god...

Layla was stunned speechless.

"Um...nice...costume" she managed to say after a few moments. "I didn't um...where did you get that?"

There was a few blinks, and Layla turned to look at the wise old wizard stereotype.

That voice...it can't be...

"Sylv? Is that you?"

Layla managed to both hold back a giggle and resist petting the wolf. Instead moving forward with Sylv, closer to the tower, remaining hidden while doing so.

Soon Sylvain would make his arrival. "It's a dance! That's not right" Layla sighed "Hogwarts does it correctly. Maybe someone needs to point this school in the direction of Hogwarts for inspiration. I'm thinking of a gown regardless, something...I don't know, I could find something pale coloured and say I'm a ghost, and still look good...

"You betcha. I'm hoping the shops here can compare with London, but I doubt it" Layla smiled at her friend, before adding "is it true the dance is basically fancy dress? What? But that's not a dance!"

Layla had gone into a lot of thinking for her outfit. The whole idea of a dress-up dance seemed ridiculous to her; a dance was a dance! You needed to look nice, not be in some silly childish Halloween outfit! A point she had complained about numerous times to anyone who listened (with both Grace and...

Layla watched the whole thing from her nice hiding spot, impressed.

Damn, he's good at being a wolf....or he's good at being a human. One of the two at least.

She waited for the light and guards to move on before making a small motion to get the wolves attention to join her in the watching spot

"No!"

Layla crumpled to the floor, visibly shaken and sweating, her breathing labored from the experience.

"No...need to find out...what it was...protecting..." she shakily grabbed for the table, trying to pull herself up. Unsuccessfully it seemed.

Woah....that's cool. As long as he's just wolf, not like werewolf... Layla had stood there stunned as Sylwolf went in, then took a few moments to think back on her studies. She remembered a book about how people made each footstep count, placing them down slowly and gently, and to be careful not to...
